Red Tail Ridge "Pétillant Naturel" Pinot Noir Rosé, Finger Lakes, New York 2025

FROM RED TAIL RIDGE:

THE WINE: The Pinot Noir in this bottle was hand harvested on September 16, 2025. The grapes were then cold soaked, and pressed whole in a membrane press. Done in the Methode Ancestrale, this wine begins fermentation in a stainless steel tank, while it is still fermenting it is put into bottle with the yeast included. The wine continues to ferment in bottle, and because it is closed with a bottle cap, the CO2 that the yeast produces gets trapped and incorporated into the wine, forming a soft, gentle mousse.
