MONDAY, SEPTEMBER 14: FREE DRAW SALON with Abdi Farah

Gather around the table or find your own quiet corner to get into the free draw flow. Led by artist Abdi Farah, the designer behind our illustrations and logos, Tulane + Harvard painting professor + Black Rock and Joan Mitchell fellow. Some supplies provided, but bring anything that makes you feel good.

MONDAY, OCTOBER 12: PATRON SAINT BOOK CLUB discusses HOT MILK

A Book Club Named Desire: The Patron Saint Book Club follows the wonderful, winding, often weird thread of women's desire. Everything we read is concerned with the things women want, both superficial and deep, fleeting and forever. 

Close out the summer with some sizzle. Come ready to discuss this mother + daughter travel drama that takes us to Spain for "a profound exploration of the sting of sexuality, of unspoken female rage, of myth and modernity, the lure of hypochondria and big pharma, and, above all, the value of experimenting with life; of being curious, bewildered, and vitally alive to the world."
