Patron Saint is a neighborhood wine shop + bar in the Lower Garden District of New Orleans. We fill our shelves with wines that are grown and made thoughtfully—good agriculture, minimal intervention.
We love new, old, experimental, classic, and everything between. Every week, we taste a hundred new wines in search of what expresses the earth, the season, and our own wide-ranging desires. We also carry a selection of beautifully made spirits, beers + groceries, including a library of tinned fish, chocolate, cheese, caviar & more.
We serve wines by the glass + bottle and snacks all day, and all night.
Patron Saint was founded by Leslie Pariseau and Tony Biancosino. Leslie is a writer, producer, and co-founder of PUNCH. She is a three-time James Beard nominee, and has written for the New York Times, LA Times, GQ, Oxford American, Condé Nast Traveler, and more. Tony is a Philly-born TV director and producer who grew up eating and cooking with his big Italian-American family in New Jersey and PA.
Together, Tony and Leslie run the creative production studio Animals & Co. and own Patron Saint's sibling pizzeria + tavern, St. Pizza St. Pizza. They met in Brooklyn and have been eating and drinking a lot of everything together since.
