FROM T. EDWARD:
THE WINE: Pas de Problème Pinot Noir is an easygoing red sourced from vineyards near the village of Béziers. This unoaked, fruit-forward wine is light, juicy, and aromatic, offering vibrant notes of raspberry, redcurrant, and wild strawberry, complemented by hints of mocha, thyme, and rosemary.
THE PRODUCER: Pas de Problème wine originates from the Languedoc region's vineyards, nestled in the historic hill-town of Enserune, a mere 15 minutes southwest of Béziers. The soil in this area is reminiscent of the renowned terroirs of Burgundy, fostering ideal conditions for the vines to thrive, with a focus on achieving a harmonious balance and pronounced minerality. Situated 20 minutes from the Mediterranean Sea, the vineyard benefits from both maritime and continental climates. The warm days promote perfect ripeness, while the cool nights retain the grapes' inherent freshness. The vineyard practices sustainable farming, eschewing the use of chemicals, herbicides, and pesticides.
