FROM HEMBRA: Hembra is woman-owned, woman-made. Our Maestra Mescalera is a multi-generation agave artisan. The magueys are carefully selected and wild-harvested from the rolling ochre hills of San Dionisio Ocotepec. Our distillation is slow and purposeful. Hembra’s unique expressions of wild Tepeztate and Tobala are pure, unhurried, handcrafted, and a true reflection of terroir. Our mezcal is a message in a bottle. A small-batch snapshot of that time and place in history. Clean and vibrant with notes of lime leaf, aloe vera, hints of cucumber, jalepeño pepper, and faint hints of quinine.
