Amid the mythic hills of Bussia, one of Barolo's first and finest crus, you'll find the tiny estate of Giacomo Fenocchio. With only 14 hectares under vine on some of Monforte d'Alba's most beloved plots, Fenocchio's bottlings are crafted with a low-intervention approach, resulting lively, ethereal nebbiolo expressions that will age for decades to come.
As you may know, we have been conducting a love affair with Piedmont for some time with the wines of Giacomo Fenocchio available on the shelves whenever we can get our hands on them. And this fall, we got our hands on many of them. On Tuesday, September 22, we welcome Letizia Fenocchio, the future winemaker for one of the world's greatest Barolo producers who will present not one, not two, not three, four, or five, but SIX stunning cuvées of Barolo from across her family's Bussia and Cannubi plots, including their legendary "90 Dì" bottling (plus their crisp, crunchy Arneis as late-summer lagniappe).
Join us for snacks, Barolo, and 10% off all bottles on the tasting list. And a reminder that if you join wine club, you receive 10% off all ticketed events at the shop (limit 2 tickets per event). A night not to be missed.
