There are few wines as haunting as those produced by Alsatian producer Domaine Weinbach. Established in 1612 by Capuchin friars, the estate was sold of during the French Revolution and acquired by the Faller family in 1898, which continues to grow and bottle these stunning wines that I simply cannot stop thinking about. Pinot gris, pinot blanc, riesling, muscat, sylvaner, gewurztraminer—every single expression possesses a singular charisma that might be attributed to its ancient spiritual foundations, its current embodiment of biodynamics and agricultural intention, or its crystalline Alsatian-ness. And lucky for you and us, we get to taste all of them.
Join us on Monday, January 19 for a one-hour tasting of five wines + light snacks, Leslie's famous champagne sauerkraut, and 10% off all bottles from the tasting. (If you are a member of or join wine club, you receive 10% off all ticketed events at the shop with our club code.)
