Cider spans a spectrum of crunchy American to deep, dark vintage Norman, with varieties whose names awaken the imagination: Solaria, Golden Russet, Ashmead's Kernel, Arkansas Black. On June 29, join DJ Piazza, founder of Disco Liquids, for a conversation about the ancient craft of cider, from moon-harvested Sonoma apples for grape skins to foraged varieties plucked from the sun-drenched orchards of Virginia to the timeworn tradition of a 500-year-old Basque producer to understand the fundamentals of what makes cider so beguiling.
